How does the customer configure their firewall to allow the traders browser access to Euro Brokers VCSC application?
The systems administrator responsible for the sites firewall needs to configure the firewall to open port 6098
outbound only to Euro Brokers Server Farm.

How does Euro Brokers keep traffic from other sites on the Internet off the customers network?
There is no mechanism connecting different sites through our Distribution Platform to each other. All customer nodes talk only to our Distribution Server in our data center.

How does Euro Brokers assess the security risk to the Euro Brokers network from the customer?
Extremely low. Euro Brokers has its own firewall in place that does not allow any Telnet, FTP or other such network protocol.

How does Euro Brokers assess the security risk to the customer from the VCSC software?
There is virtually no security risk involved. Euro Brokers has not implemented the various network functions that might allow its employees or other customers to illicitly gain entrance into the customers network.

How does Euro Brokers prevent its employees or other customers from gaining access to the customers network?
The only packets passing through port 6098 are record requests and record data used by the VCSC application. There is no Telnet, Finger, NNTP, Rhost, FTP or other such connection performed that could jeopardize your network.

Is there a login process with the customers system?
Yes, each customer is assigned a login name and password, given
out only after contacting the customers broker. Euro Brokers keeps a very accurate
log of users who access the system so the risk of potential threat is kept to a minimum.

Does the VCSC software give Euro Brokers the capability of
remotely controlling a host PC on the customers net?
No.

Does the VCSC software require a dedicated LAN?
No.
|
Does the VCSC software require a dedicated PC/Workstation?
No.
|
Is there a problem with network traffic saturating the customer network?
No. Euro Brokers has measured the amount of data passing through
the port to be less than 5KB/sec at times of extreme activity.
